I am watching in amazement as I listen to short sale investors and companies drop off the map. They have thrown their hands up and thrown in the towel. Why? I don’t get it! I know short sales are frustrating! That is what makes them so fun and challenging!
Many, though, are getting tired of the rat race in the short sale arena and just don’t seem to have what it takes to hold on.
The market, as most know, has under gone a GREAT deal of strain and change. This has not, necessarily, made things more difficult for short sale investors. In fact, it has made this a very interesting and educational journey. You have to stay on your toes at all times or the tide might wash you away with the rest of the sand. The banks are softening up again and the desire for investors wanting in on the short sale game are increasing again.
It’s funny! I see these trends come full circle just about every 9 months. There seemed to be a big boom or surfacing of so-called short sale gurus towards the end of the summer and everyone starts to act like short sales just popped up from the ground. The fact is, short sales are almost as old as dinosaurs.
So why all the hype? You can make great deal of money in short sales if done right. What seems to be the problem is these gurus each sell their course as having the “secret ingredient”. Are there secrets to short sales? Well yes, but what I find in these training programs is that they FOCUS on this “secret ingredient” and leave out the basics or the fundamentals.
This is what sparked my partner and I’s desire to put a COMPLETE training program out there. One that includes EVERYTHING! I am not sure why investors feel the need to spend thousands on training over and over again hoping that the next course will have the “next” hidden secret. Maybe this go round investors will start asking questions. Maybe this go round investors will want to see what is REALLY inside! Maybe this go round they will select a company that gives them EVERYTHING!
Well, I am sure I will be around to see this cycle come again and again! short sales are not going away anytime soon.
