Help with Foreclosure or Preforeclosure

Welcome to my blog.  Foreclosures, as most of us know, are out of control.  With constant reports about equity scams and general ripoffs where does a homeowner turn for help when faced with a Foreclosure?  When facing Foreclosure or experiencing mortgage difficulties it is important to remember that there are still people out there that do want to help.  The Foreclosure process can be very taxing on a family and being constantly contacted by brokers from all angles of the real estate industry is frustrating and disconcerting.

So what can you do when approaching a Foreclosure?  You can contact a professional that works with saving homes from Foreclosure rather than taking it from you.  Sometimes, when in a Foreclosure situation, you may not be able to save your home and may have to face the fact that you may infact have to move out because of the Foreclosure proceedings.  However, if you have experienced a temporary hardship and are able to resume your REGULAR mortgage payments than help is just a click away.  There are many “Foreclosure prevention” or “loss mitigation” companies out there.  A good loss mitigation company is hard to find.  If you are facing a Foreclosure or having mortgage difficulties it is important to find a company that will help you prevent the Foreclosure and keep you in your home.

The question you need to ask yourself is this-I used professionals to purchase my home.  Don’t I want to use a professional to help save my home from Foreclosure?  If you realize the importance of this when in Foreclosure then the next step is to do your research.  Check with the Better Business Bureau first.  Find out if this company that works with foreclosures has had any complaints with the BBB from other homeowners.  The company I work with has been in business 3 years helping people save their homes from Foreclosure.  They have a squeeky clean record when dealing with the homeowner.  Not only that but they have 12+ combined experience in the loss mitigation field.  They offer the homeowner a guarantee.  They work directly with the lender and homeowner and are not outsourcing their clients to other untrustworthy companies.  Bottom line, they care and are looking out for the homeowner, YOU!

My best advice-DO YOUR RESEARCH first.  Foreclosure is a critical time and you don’t need to get involved with someone that is looking to eat up your time and try to take your home in the end anyway.
